Notting Hill Carnival:
Recess, Daily paper + Converse

For the iconic Notting Hill Carnival, I collaborated with Recess to create interactive generative art that brought a dynamic and immersive element to the vibrant celebration. Partnering with Daily Paper and Converse, the project aimed to blend cultural expression with cutting-edge technology, over the course of the weekend, we sought to elevate the visual storytelling of the carnival experience.

Generative patterns on TouchdesignerUsing TouchDesigner, I developed generative art pieces that were displayed on the 'World Stage' screen, showcasing dynamic patterns that responded in real time to the energy of the event. The visuals were designed to reflect the bold and diverse spirit of the carnival, drawing inspiration from the cultural richness and vibrant aesthetics that define Notting Hill Carnival.

All the generative patterns could be changed and adjusted in real time varying in intensity.

Culture, art, creative techThe collaboration between Recess, Daily Paper, and Converse highlighted the intersection of art, culture, and technology, and I’m proud to have contributed to such a meaningful and innovative project. This experience further solidified my passion for creating interactive installations that transform public spaces and connect people through shared moments of creativity.
