Rihanna AR

2021

The Rihanna AR activation uses the Rihanna coffee table book as a canvas for a custom AI experience, bringing the cover to life through augmented reality. By translating the book's aesthetic into an interactive digital layer, the project explores how AR can breathe new life into traditionally static mediums, transforming print into an immersive experience.

The Ai  sprite sheet to use for AR
The first test, lo-res distortions

The first Ai test resulted to heavy distortions on both Rihanna’s face and the logo, to resolve this, meant manually removing and retouching the logo from her face giving the Ai a clean canvas to work from.

For fans without the book, the AR filter activates using any image of the front cover found online
